Join Japanese Calligraphy artist Rie Shibasaki at the Gallery on Sunday 23 August 1pm, for a hands-on introduction to Japanese Calligraphy. Learn the basics of brush and ink, explore the beauty and meaning of Japanese characters, and create your own calligraphy piece inspired by words such as peace, hope, harmony and the future. No previous experience is necessary.
All materials supplied. $75 per person.
