If you’re keen to develop your creative skills and knowledge the Gallery has a range of one off and ongoing learning programmes for residents and visitors to the island.

Waiheke Community Art Gallery is committed to providing a range of learning opportunities for all ages and abilities. We offer workshop experiences that fit a day trip from Auckland right through to the full-time NZ Diploma in Ceramics course – whatever your creative passions, we’ll have the right programme or you.

Our Artists in Residence Programme is an exciting opportunity for artists to spend 12 weeks living and creating on Waiheke Island.

At the end of their stay our artist in residence showcase their works in an exhibition at the Waiheke Community Art Gallery.
