Those ghosts lying under the trees

Inspired by a spring visit to England. 'Those ghosts lying under the trees' is a line from Virginia Woolf's story 'Kew Gardens'. Underpinning this work is a hope and belief in nature. A hope that the cycle of life will continue and heal. That spring will always come after winter.

Artist: Jo Dalgety
Materials: Watercolour on paper, collage on panel, wax medium finish, oak frame
