Walker & Hall Waiheke Art Award 2026

This porcelain assemblage creates a hybrid marine creature, reminiscent of a lifeform finding home in discarded shells. Inspired by the spinifex seed pod - nature’s gift for stabilizing shifting shorelines - the work serves as a fragile symbol of renewal. Its small scale invites a quiet pause to wonder at beauty in balance.
