Michael trained at Goldsmiths College, University of London in painting and at Central School of Art & Design in printmaking.
Ellen completed an MFA at Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design in Auckland in 2008. Michael and Ellen have lived and worked in New Zealand since 2003, and their collaborative works have been included as Finalists in both the Walker & Hall Art Award and the New Zealand Painting and Printmaking Award.
Their paintings are held in private collections in New Zealand, United States and the UK.
