Full time artist, part time mermaid.
Two year Art Foundation, three year BA Hons, Art and Design.
My landscape and seascape paintings reference colour, light and form as it affects both me and the changing environment around me. I use complex flower forms and colour to further develop my own painting style and technique.
I love creating garments for the WOW shows (World of Wearable Arts) and have been a finalist with ten garment entries so far. I was lucky enough to be asked to work at Weta Workshops while living in Wellington and got to work on the Hobbit for a month, which was an amazing experience!
I find Waiheke Island a hugely inspirational place to live and work.
