Blue Radius Lantern Procession

Join us for this wonderful free event!

'Lantern-making workshop followed by a beach procession' on Saturday 29th October, as part of the Blue Radius exhibition - raising awareness of sea level rise - that was curated recently at Depot Artspace by Laura Donkers  https://www.depotartspace.co.nz/event/blue-radius/  A community-led collaboration saw Waiheke's Bianca Ranson and Te Aata Rangimarie Smith’s larger than life carbon stack 'Tuakana Teina' take centre stage as part of this exhibition. 

This free event will be led by the artist Natanahira Te Pona. All materials and guidance on lantern-making will be provided. We aim to raise awareness of sea level rise and the plight of the Kororā on Waiheke.
