This loaf of bread is a metaphor of Aotearoa, the simple pattern on the top of the loaf tells the story of Teika and Te Waka a Maui and the flag with the British pound symbol upon it represents the arrival of capitalism in Aotearoa. The painted red seeds create a pyramid that represents the one percent and the structure of society, with one seed outside of the pyramid portrays the part of people that wish to change the structure of society.
