The exhibition is on the move!
The Waiheke Community Art Gallery was extended the privilege of hosting an exhibition of the estate works of the late Malcolm Harrison who worked on the island passed away at his home on Waiheke in 2007. The exhibition on Waiheke curated by Ceres Dallaway Davidson ran from 22 September - 16 October 2017. Following its initial opening on Waiheke, the exhibition is now travelling throughout Aotearoa New Zealand having already been shown at North Art and Estuary Arts Centre in Auckland and now further afield - the Gallery's first travelling exhibition.

Malcolm was an outstanding textile artist whose work was collected by major New Zealand institutions and galleries and frequently commissioned for public spaces. The travelling exhibition includes major quilt works, tapestries, assemblages, small sculpture, painted works on paper, poetry plus illustrations and writings for children's books.
