Waiheke Island, hosted by Ngāti Paoa with the dawn karakia on saturday morning. The carvings look towards historic and natural landmarks, and were carved and led by Ngāti Paoa artists Puhi Thompson and Chris Bailey. Experience the karanga, the sounds of ancient karakia and waiata. Commemorate our tīpuna and rejoice our generations to come.Pass the word around!
