Reflections of the Time is a collection of recent silkscreen and painted composites on perspex from well-known Aotearoa artist and filmmaker Claudia Pond Eyley.

A founding member of Visual Artists Against Nuclear Arms and a member of the Association of Women Artists, Claudia has exhibited widely international and within Aotearoa, with works held in the collection of the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki and the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.

Reflections of the Time operates as a playful prism into Pond Eyley’s identity, which she describes as reflecting “… the many aspects of being a feminist woman painter. Working in isolation, the images reflect the many aspects of life.”

On Sunday 8 February Claudia Pond Eyley will be giving an artist’s talk at Waiheke Art Gallery followed by a screening of some of her films at Waiheke Cinema.
