Heather Randerson was born in Wellington where she trained as a teacher, married and had three children then began a career in theatre, TV and the performing arts which has spanned over thirty five years.
She moved to Hokianga in 1997 to be closer to whanau roots and share in community life.
Her interest in film has been expressed through her being one of the organisers of the Hokianga Film Festivals in 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011.
Heather has had a number of exhibitions of her photography in the North and South Islands and has exhibited with Black Space since 2014 in Kohukohu, Hokianga, Kerikeri and the Depot Artspace, Auckland.
Her new body of work, MOENGAROA, was included in the Ngapuhi Festival 2016 and the gallery is very much looking forward to exhibiting this body of work here on Waiheke.
