The Gallery will be all things kiwi with a relaxed talk with Lady Jennie Fenwick about the exciting Save the Kiwi Project here on Waiheke.

Jennie and her late husband Sir Rob Fenwick began a restoration project 40 years ago on Te Matuku Peninsula. Assisted by Te Korowai o Waiheke’s stoat program and the mahi of Ngāti Paoa, Ngai Tai ki Tāmaki and Save the Kiwi, that work has culminated in the release of 10 kiwi from Ponui Island.
Jennie is also currently a Trustee of Save the Kiwi and will be having a relaxed conversation about the 30 years of lobbying to see kiwi released here, how those 10 are settling in and what that could been for future translocations of other birds.
